When The Verge asked Twitter directly if they were experimenting with emoji reactions, their response was a monkey icon with hands over its mouth. This has many speculating what the answer really means. I asked Twitter for comment about emoji reactions and It looks like Twitter might be playing around with the idea of letting users react to tweets with emoji characters rather than forcing them to heart/like everything.
